Ahmet ÇAKAR, the Local Event Leader of the NASA Space Apps Challenge Çanakkale and a Board Member of TÜMMİAD, sent a thank-you message to our Faculty for the exceptional participation of our students in the "NASA International Space Apps" event held in Çanakkale on October 5-6, 2024. The message was also directed to the faculty members who guided and encouraged the students in their scientific endeavors.

In his email to Prof. Dr. Ekrem GÜREL, Dean of our Faculty, Event Leader ÇAKAR stated:

"On October 5-6, we achieved a first in Çanakkale by holding the city's first-ever hackathon. I would like to express my gratitude to the students of your university, members of the Science Club, who participated with me in the world’s largest hackathon, the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, and showed outstanding success during our event.

In particular, the performance displayed by Büşra Gökçe ZOLMAZ, Aysu ÇAVUŞ, Zeynep YÜCE, and Fikret Tolga CİN in the fields of science, technology, and innovation is making significant contributions to the development of the Republic of Turkey. The perseverance and hard work of these students are a sign of their future success.

On this occasion, I also extend my thanks to you, esteemed faculty members, who supported and guided your students to success. Your contributions to science and technology play a significant role in our country's progress. Best regards."

We would like to congratulate our students, who have once again brought honor to our faculty by enhancing its reputation, and the faculty members who played a pivotal role in their development. We also extend our gratitude to Local Event Leader Mr. Ahmet ÇAKAR for his kind message.
