Prof. Dr. Sedat ÇETİN, a faculty member in the Department of Physical Chemistry at our Faculty’s Department of Chemistry, has been appointed as the Acting Dean of the Faculty by the Council of Higher Education for a period of six months.

Prof. Dr. Sedat ÇETİN completed his undergraduate and doctoral studies at Middle East Technical University and his master's degree at Abant İzzet Baysal University. He began his academic career in 1995 as a research assistant in the Department of Chemistry at our faculty. He was promoted to assistant professor in 2007, associate professor in 2017, and full professor in 2023.
Between 2014 and 2020, Prof. Dr. ÇETİN served as Vice Director of the Institute of Science at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. Since 2021, he had also been serving as Vice Dean of our Faculty.
