BATIKAF'24 Career Fair Concluded with a Grand Organization

Organized under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, with the collaboration of the Bolu Governorship and 17 partner universities from 8 provinces, the largest career fair in the Western Black Sea region, BATIKAF'24, was successfully completed with the hosting and partnership of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University. The two-day event took place with intense participation from students, graduates, and representatives of the public and private sectors in the region.

Held in the Heart of the Region, Gölköy Campus

With the support of partner universities, public institutions, professional associations, and non-governmental organizations, BATIKAF'24 took place with great enthusiasm in both open and closed exhibition areas at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University's Gölköy Campus. Participants from our university, along with students and graduates, showed significant interest in the events held during the fair.

Great Interest in Our Faculty's Events

As part of the BATIKAF'24 organization, our faculty hosted several events as one of the location points. Participation was high, and our students made significant contributions to the event.

Certificates of Appreciation and the Dean’s Speech

Prof. Dr. Ekrem GÜREL, Dean of our faculty, presented certificates of appreciation to the students who participated in the events held at our faculty building. The ceremony took place on December 17, 2024, at the Dean's Office, with the participation of our Vice Dean and Faculty Secretary.

In his speech during the ceremony, Dean GÜREL said the following to the students:

"Today, we are gathered here to thank and express my appreciation to you, our valued students. Your dedication, sense of responsibility, and exceptional efforts in the BATIKAF'24 organization have not only made us proud but also strengthened our hopes for the future.
You contributed significantly to the success of this important event by representing our faculty's name and values in the best possible way. Throughout the two days, your meticulousness, friendly attitude toward our guests, and attention to every detail have shone a strong light on both our faculty’s academic and social achievements.
Remember that the experiences you gain in such organizations are valuable assets that will shape not only your present but also your future professional life. When I look at you, I see individuals who will shape the future of both our faculty and our country.
On this occasion, I also want to thank, through you, our faculty members, administrative, technical, and support staff, Vice Deans, and Faculty Secretary for their contributions throughout the event. However, the biggest thanks go to you, dear students, who brought this organization to success with your energy and efforts.
Our greatest wish is to continue seeing your success. I congratulate all of you once again and wish you to continue on your path with the same enthusiasm and determination in your future endeavors."

BATIKAF'24 aimed to create career opportunities by connecting students with the regional labor market. By participating in this organization, our university not only guided the students but also brought our graduates together with the business world.
