The 2025 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Basic Training, organized by the Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ), is starting for students who are required to complete internships. Students who wish to participate in the training program must apply online by Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 11:00 PM.

Students can log in via the BAİBÜ UBYS system and complete their registration through the application page. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, and students who do not register will not be issued a certificate.

Training Will Be Conducted via Microsoft Teams

The training will take place offline (asynchronous) via the Microsoft Teams platform between May 21–31, 2025. Before the training begins, participants will complete a pre-assessment test through Microsoft Forms. Attendance confirmation will be collected through QR codes shown during the training videos. Students must scan each course’s QR code and enter their full name and student number correctly.

Minimum Score for Certification: 60 Points

Students who attend all sessions and complete attendance requirements correctly will be eligible to take the Final Assessment Exam, which will also be administered via Microsoft Forms. Students who score at least 60 points on the exam will receive the Occupational Health and Safety Basic Training Certificate.

Legal Obligation and Scope

This training includes the 16-hour program mandated for individuals entering the workforce for the first time, in accordance with Article 17 of Law No. 6331 on Occupational Health and Safety. BAİBÜ provides its students who will complete internships within the university the opportunity to fulfill this legal requirement.
