Following the resignation of Prof. Dr. Ekrem GÜREL, a faculty member in the Department of Biology, from his position as Dean of the Faculty as of May 22, 2025, an interim appointment has been made to the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences by our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI.

Until a new dean or acting dean is appointed by the Council of Higher Education, the duties of the Dean will be carried out by our University Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Coşkun KARACA, in accordance with Article 16 of the Higher Education Law No. 2547.
